Anime Festival Orlando outlines events

Orlando, FL (June 22, 2006) - Anime Festival Orlando returns to the Wyndham Orlando Resort to bring you AFO7. Fans turn to AFO to bring them the best anime convention experience in Florida. Every summer in Orlando, Florida, AFO is held in the tourism capital of the world, drawing thousands of local and out of state fans. The staff and organizers have committed each year to providing the freshest and most exciting events as well as an incredible guest list of not only voice actors but artists, writers, producers and distributors as well. Thanks to this commitment, AFO has steadily grown over the past 7 years, all the while maintaining its status of "Florida's Favorite Anime Convention."

AFO7 is very excited to welcome our guests Veronica Taylor, Travis Willingham, Aaron Dismuke, Vic Mignogna, Chris Sabat, Doug Smith, Quinton Flynn, Jeff Nimoy and Marc Handler. Each of these guests hand picked because of their talent and the excitement their work lends to the anime community. AFO has become not only an annual gathering of fans but also of industry professionals.

This year's event theme is "Hooray for Hollywood" and will feature the "AFO A Night at the Movies" fan film contest plus formal awards show: "The AF'Oscars." Additionally, AFO is pleased to feature "Project Cosplay" a fresh event that has already created a buzz in the anime community. Guests and attendees will find these as well as many other new offerings this year; and, of course, fan favorite events throughout the weekend.
