Anime Expo announces its second annual pre-registration contest
Win CLAMP Prizes, Manga, Copic Markers, Anime Cels, Electronics, DVD prize packs and More!Anaheim, California (May 5, 2006)-- Anime Expo® 2006 brings back the Pre-Registration Contest, with a fantastic line up of prizes from DVD prize packs, Manga Books, Copic Markers, Anime Cels, Electronics to even highly prized official products by CLAMP! From a random drawing, early registration attendees are eligible to win prizes. Images of prizes can be found on the official Anime Expo® 2006 website.
Deadline to qualifying for any of the aforementioned prizes is June 15, 2005. Winners will be announced online and must attend Anime Expo® 2006 to claim their prizes.
Individual's can now register via online (www.anime-expo.org) for Anime Expo® 2006.
ELIGIBILITY: Any attendee who registers for Anime Expo® 2006 online until June 1st, 2006 at 11:59:59 PM PST and completes the survey is eligible. Attendees who registered for Anime Expo 2006 prior to this contest are also eligible but they must have had their survey filled out completely. Sorry, but we cannot retroactively complete surveys. One entry per person. Employees or volunteers of The Society for the Promotion of Japanese Animation ("SPJA"), Anime Expo® ("AX"), their respective advertising or promotion agencies, any agents acting for the above entities, and members of their immediate families (spouses, children, siblings, parents) are ineligible to enter the contest.
HOW TO WIN: All eligible participants are automatically entered in the contest. Winners will be chosen randomly from valid participants. Odds of winning vary greatly depending on number of entrants. Winner(s) may be notified by e-mail and/or telephone. If a winner cannot be contacted from the information provided on the registration form, we reserve the right to select another winner.
GENERAL RULES AND REGULATIONS: By entering this contest, each Winner and his/her parent or legal guardian, if Winner is a minor, each Winner or Winner's parent or legal guardian may be required to sign affidavits of eligibility, tax acknowledgment forms, liability releases and, except where prohibited by law, use of name and likeness releases ("Winner Documents") and to return these within five (5) days of receipt of Prize Acceptance form, if any. If (i) any prize or prize notification is returned as undeliverable, (ii) a Winner fails to properly and/or timely reply to and/or return all required Prize Acceptance Form(s) and Winner Documents within five (5) days of receipt, (iii) a Winner declines his or her prize, or (iv) a Winner fails to comply with any of the Official Rules and Regulations as outlined herein, such Winner will be disqualified and an alternate winner will be selected by random drawing at our discretion. The Sweepstakes Entities expressly disclaim any responsibility and entrants and their parents/legal guardians agree to indemnify and hold harmless the contest holder, and their respective employees, officers, directors, parent companies and agents, from and against any and all claims, actions, demands and/or liability for injury, damage or loss to any person (including death) or property relating to or arising in connection with participation in this contest (regardless of the cause of such injury or loss), the delivery and/or subsequent use or misuse of any of the prizes awarded and/or printing, distribution or production errors. Participants and their parents/legal guardians acknowledge that prizes are awarded "as is" and that we have not made, and are not in any manner responsible or liable for any representation, guarantee or warranty, expressed or implied, in law or in fact, relative to any prize, including, but not limited to its quality, mechanical condition or fitness for a particular purpose.
WINNERS' LIST: A list of winners will be posted on the AX website shortly after the conclusion of the contest.
