Sakura-Con announces three new guests of honor
Sakura-Con 2011 welcomes Chris Bevins, Tiffany Grant and Clarine Harp as Guests of HonorSince 2001, Christopher Bevins has recorded, directed, produced, acted in and/or written script adaptations for over 70 anime series, movies and specials including BECK: MONGOLIAN CHOP SQUAD (with Taliesin Jaffe), WITHCBLADE, SAMURAI 7, SPEED GRAPHER, DRAGON BALL GT AND many more. Chris has numerous voice acting credits, including: Japan in HETALIA:AZIS POWERS, APOLLO IN AQUARION, Mercutio in ROMEO x JULIET, Kenji in INITIAL D, Johnny Gil in D.GRAY-MAN and many more. Recently, Chris reprised his video game role as the English-language voice of Dhalsim in SUPER STREET FIGHTER IV.
Best known as Asuka from EVANGELION, Tiffany Grant has 1000+voice credits including roles in NOIR, CHRONO CRUSADE, AZUMANGA DAIOH, FULL METAL ALCHEMIST, and TSUBASA RESERVOIR CHRONICLES. Video game credits: UNLIMITED SAGA, DEUS EX II: INVISIBLE WAR. Recent projects include FMA: BROTHERHOOD and TEARS TO TIARA. Ms. Grant has written English dubbing scripts for TV series such as ANGELIC LAYER, MABURAHO, GODANNAR, AH! MY GODDESS 2 and THE WALLFLOWER and more.
Clarine Harp was first cast by FUNimation Entertainment in 2003 to give life to the character of Tweedledee in KIDDY GRADE. Since then, Clarine's talents have been featured in a broad range of roles including: HETALIA: AXIS POWERS as China, Sei in BURST ANGEL, Sanae in Akira Kurosawa's SAMURAI 7, Ginz in SPEED GRAPHER, Kaede in NEGIMA, Miss Katz in SHIN CHAN, Asagi in WITHCBLADE and many more .
