News for Sakura-Con 2011:
Sakura-Con 2011 announces Exist Trace as musical guest
ANCEA (Asia Northwest Cultural Education Association) is proud to present the fourteenth annual Sakura-Con April 22-24 at the Washington State Convention and Trade Center in Downtown Seattle Washington.
Sakura-Con is pleased to announce exist†trace as our first musical guests for 2011. Described by fans as "dark and melodic" and known for technically brilliant guitar work with heavy bass and drums, exist†trace is Japan's first all-female Visual Kei rock band.
Formed in 2003, the members of exist†trace are Jyou (vocals), Miko (guitar), Mally (drums), Naoto (bass), Omi (guitar).
Along with multiple tours of Japan, exist†trace has performed twice in Europe, making appearances in Berlin, Helsinki, Moscow, Paris, London, and Barcelona. In 2009, the band performed at the 2-day V-ROCK FESTIVAL in Chiba, Japan.
In November 2010, exist†trace will release their new album "TWIN GATE" in Japan. exist†trace's performance at Sakura-Con 2011 will mark their first-ever USA appearance. exist†trace appears by arrangement with JapanFiles, Loopline, and Monsters, Inc.

ANCEA is a state and federal 501c3 charitable non profit corporation dedicated to educating about traditional and contemporary Asian Media; with a special focus on Japanese anime, manga, music and gaming. ANCEA and Sakura-Con is entirely volunteer run, "for the fans, by the fans."
