Kawaii Kon 2010 announces final guests of honor

Honolulu, HI, February 13, 2010- Kawaii Kon is honored to announce that popular voice actors Hideo Ishikawa and Masakazu Morita, as well as up-and-coming music sensation Alt/Air will be attending Kawaii Kon 2010 as our final guests of honor!

Don't miss your chance to see Alt/Air in concert, and Mr. Ishikawa and Mr. Morita's first convention appearance in the United States!

They join an amazing group of guests that include Shinji Aramaki, Daisuke Kishio, Johnny Yong Bosch, Vic Mignogna, Wendy Powell, Bob and Emily DeJesus, David Williams and Samantha Inoue-Hart!

Hideo Ishikawa
Mr. Ishikawa is a Japanese seiyuu from Hyogo, Japan. With an impressive body of voice work in both anime and video games, some of his most notable roles include:

  • Itachi Uchiha in Naruto
  • Jushiro Ukitake in Bleach
  • Kiccho Fukuda in Slam Dunk
  • Auron in Final Fantasy X, Final Fantasy X-2 and Kingdom Hearts II
  • Leon in Kingdom Hearts and Kingdom Hearts II
  • Squall Leonhart in Dissidia: Final Fantasy
  • Cait Sith in Dirge of Cerebus Final Fantasy VII and Final Fantasy VII Advent Children

Masakazu Morita
No stranger to fans of Bleach or the Final Fantasy series, Mr. Morita has put together an impressive resume of voice roles in a relatively short amount of time. The winner of the award for "Best Rookie Actor" at the first Seiyuu Awards in 2007, some of his most notable roles include:

  • Ichigo Kurosaki in Bleach
  • Hollow Ichigo in Bleach
  • Tidus in Final Fantasy X, Final Fantasy X-2, Kingdom Hearts and Dissidia: Final Fantasy
  • Pegasus Seiya in Saint Seiya: Hades Chapter
  • Auel Neider in Gundam Seed Destiny

Alt/Air
Alt/Air is appearing through a partnership with GroundUp Agency INTL. Singer Aly Ishikuni is no stranger to the music business- the young talent was discovered back when she was only 18, making it to the finals of the Brown Bags to Stardom talent competition. Soon after, she was traveling the world and working with world-class labels such as Avex, and artists such as BoA, m-flo, Howie D. and Christina Milian.
