- In less than two weeks, through the efforts of many web comic creators, $34,292.13 has been raised to pay off ConnectiCon's $34,148.50 debt.

- Web comics and attendees band together to save ConnectiCon
- This past weekend's ConnectiCon found itself in over $34,000 of debt after being presented with a bill for last minute additions to the Connecticut Convention Center staff. In response, web comics have created SaveConnectiCon.com in an attempt to raise enough money to ensure the convention will return next year.
