Jessie Usher is an American actor best known for his standout roles in Survivor's Remorse (2014-2017), the Sony Pictures' film When the Game Stands Tall (2014), Universal's film Almost Christmas (2016), 20th Century Fox's blockbuster Independence Day: Resurgence (2016), and most recently as one of the super heroes "A-train" in the new hit Amazon Original series The Boys (2019-).
Jessie was inspired to act at an early age; When his family moved to Los Angeles in 2003, he landed guest-star roles in numerous television shows including Without a Trace (2005), Numbers (2008), The Mentalist (2009), Criminal Minds (2009), Lincoln Heights (2008), Hannah Montana (2007) and Summer Camp (2010). Jessie's first big break came in 2011 playing the role of Lyle Huggingson in Cartoon Network's television movie Level Up. The project became a well-loved TV series and Jessie reprised his role throughout the show's two seasons. He recently landed one of the leading roles in the New Line Cinema upcoming movie The Son of Shaft (2019) playing John Shaft Jr. aka: JJ.
