Biography:
Gary Whitta is the former Editor-in-Chief of PC Gamer magazine and now an award-winning screenwriter and author whose films have grossed almost two billion dollars worldwide. He is best known as co-writer of Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, while his other credits include The Book of Eli starring Denzel Washington, The Will Smith movie After Earth, the animated series Star Wars Rebels, and The Walking Dead, for which he was a recipient of a BAFTA Award for Best Narrative. He also wrote the critically-acclaimed fantasy novel Abomination and the comic-book series Oliver, which was named Best Comics Mini-Series in 2019. He has written for both Marvel and DC Comics, including the acclaimed story Kill The Batman, and the graphic novel adaptation of The Last Jedi.
