Biography:
TRUE began her career as a singer with the single "anytime, anywhere" produced by Satoshi Shimano. In 2001, her third single, "Way to Love", was featured on the drama Love Revolution and became a smash hit, selling 300,000 copies and reaching number 10 on the Oricon chart.
In 2011, she transitioned into a song lyricist. She handled writing anime openings and endings from artists such as Eir Aoi, Kis-My-Ft2, LoVendoЯ, and iDOLM@STER character songs. Her "Beat Generation" performed by the idol group Fairies, which she wrote the lyrics to, won the 45th Japan Cable Awards Music Excellence Award. Fans praised her for the passion and tenderness of her lyrics.
In 2014, she began working again as the singer TRUE. Starting with the opening theme of Buddy Complex, TRUE has been responsible for popular anime themes for shows including Mobile Suit Gundam: Iron-Blooded Orphans, Sound! Euphonium, and Violet Evergarden.
TRUE has a strong command of music, with brash and hot compositions whose sounds beat and change. When she belts out ballads in her soprano voice, listeners can't stop their tears. Her voice can't be contained and will continue to grow and give people energy. As her confidence expands through her work as a singer and artist, TRUE will continue to make great strides.
