Biography:
Steve Purcell has worked in the Bay Area for decades in comics, illustration, games and film. At Skywalker Ranch he worked for LucasArts creating screen art and paintings for games like, THE SECRET OF MONKEY ISLAND. He adapted his own comic characters for the LucasArts game, SAM & MAX HIT THE ROAD, and created a SAM & MAX animated series for FoxKids. He developed feature projects at Industrial Light and Magic and worked with Telltale on a series of SAM & MAX episodic games, before arriving at PIXAR where he began as a story artist on CARS, then writer/co-director on the Oscar winning animated feature, BRAVE. Steve wrote, directed and voice acted for the TV special TOY STORY THAT TIME FORGOT and continues to develop projects for PIXAR as well as for the irrepressible Sam & Max.
