Biography:
Naruyoshi Kikuchi was born in 1963. He is a musician, writer, lecturer, and producer. He also plays the saxophone. In 2011, he signed on with Impulse! Records, becoming the first non-American to do so. Since 2013 he's been a label producer within Sony Music, creating the label TABOO, and one of his accolades includes the debut album of actress Rinko Kikuchi. During his career, he has released over 20 albums.
No stranger to anime, Kikuchi performed the saxophone on the Cowboy Bebop soundtrack and he composed the music for Lupin the Third: The Woman Called Fujiko Mine and Mobile Suit Gundam Thunderbolt. For the latter, he also performs as part of the band he leads known as DCPRG.
His brother is Hideyuki Kikuchi, the writer of Demon City Shinjuku and Vampire Hunter D.
