Biography:
Joe Flanigan is best known for his character Major/Lt. Colonel John Sheppard on Stargate: Atlantis on the SYFY Channel. His character played along side Jason Momoa whom portrayed Ronon Dex on the show. The show is now seen on Amazon Prime.
Joe was born on January 5, 1967 in Los Angeles, California, USA as Joseph Harold Dunnigan III. He is an actor and writer, known for Stargate: Atlantis (2004), 6 Bullets (2012) and The Other Sister (1999). He has three children and was previously married to Katherine Kousi.
Another claim to fame is that Worked as an advance man in President George Bush' the elder's administration and as a bartender, but was fired from both jobs! According to Joe, he hated journalism and he jokingly states that he created "fake news" years ago!
