Biography:
A musician since age four and a composer since 1995, George R. Powell has been an avid fan of cinema his whole life. It wasn't until his talents were discovered by a local recording engineer who attended a church play that Powell scored that George was trained in recording studio software. From that point on, George began to compose music for various short films, games, and in 2007, Powell was approached by BMB Finishes to score their feature length Legend of Zelda fanfilm "The Hero of Time". George continues to score independently-produced films/games while working toward his 4-year Business/Marketing degree with plans to open his own animation studio to produce animated adventure films.
