Biography:
Haruna Ikezawa is a Japanese actress, voice actress, book reviewer and author. She was born in Athens, Greece. She has studied in England, Thailand, China, Chile and the USA. Her father is the Akutagawa Prize-winning novelist and poet Natsuki Ikezawa, and her grandfather is the novelist Takehiko Fukunaga.

Haruna is an elected member of SFWJ: Science Fiction and Fantasy Writers of Japan. She also served as the 20th Chairperson of the Board of Directors of SFWJ.

Her main roles in anime include Gō Seiba in Bakusō Kyōdai Let's & Go!!, Hiroko Haruna in Hamtaro, Momoka Nishizawa in Sgt. Frog. In video games, she has voiced Athena Asamiya in King of Fighters since 1998, and Coco Bandicoot for the Crash Bandicoot series.

She won The 48th Seiun Award in the Non-Fiction category for the SF essay collection "The S in SF Stands for Wonderful(Subarashii)" and the 52nd Seiun Award in the Japanese Short Story category for "Orbital Christmas" (original script by Mitsuyasu Sakai).
