Biography:
Dwayne McDuffie is the Humanitas Prize-winning co-creator of the Emmy award-nominated cartoon, STATIC SHOCK. He is also a founder and co-owner of Milestone Media, Inc., the most successful black-owned comic book company in history. Dwayne has been a writer and/or editor for Marvel Comics, Milestone Media, DC Comics, Harvey Comics, Valiant/Acclaim Comics and several other companies hešs either forgotten about, or is ashamed to admit to. Dwayne has written Spider-Man, Batman: Legends of the Dark Knight, Prince, X-O Manowar, Avengers, Back To The Future, Deathlok, Hellraiser and many others, including his own creations, Damage Control, Icon, Hardware and Static Shock. In addition to his comics work, Dwayne is a script editor on STATIC SHOCK! (the KIDS WB animated series based on his comic book, STATIC) and is a writer/producer of the Cartoon Network animated series, JUSTICE LEAGUE. In addition to episodes of those shows, he's also written for WHAT'S NEW, SCOOBY-DOO? and TEEN TITANS. Upcoming comics work includes the all-new The Road To Hell graphic novel (with co-writer and creator Matt S. Wayne and artist Rick Parker).
