Anime Convention

The newest project managed by the SPJA, Anime Conji or "AC", is an annual convention held in San Diego.

Now in its fifth year, Anime Conji is moving to a new home: the beautiful Sheraton Hotel & Marina! We are proud of Anime Conji and its rapid growth into the premiere anime and Japanese pop culture event in the San Diego area, where it brings together cosplayers, gamers, and anime fans for a weekend celebrating the best in Japanese culture and entertainment.

The immediate area surrounding the hotel offers an excellent setting for cosplay photography, with the Pacific Ocean and the Downtown San Diego cityscape's unique architecture creating a dramatic backdrop for professional cosplayers and photographers.

Anime Conji brings the worlds of anime, manga, and Japanese fashion and pop culture together, presenting a fan-driven and highly interactive convention in a convenient central environment. The SPJA is pleased to present this innovative event as the newest addition to its roster of annual conventions, which also include Anime Expo and Project Anime North America & Japan.
