Mizucon 2010 announces dates, locations, guests and more

MIzucon is also proud to announce Mike Sinterniklaas and David Williams as our first guests of honor!

Michael Sinterniklaas is a voice actor, dubbing director, and founder of NYAV Post, a dubbing studio in New York City

His current most popular castings as a voice actor are Noitra in Bleach, Leonardo in the 2003 Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles cartoon and Dean Venture (and other small parts) in the Adult Swim cartoon The Venture Bros., Leo in Fullmetal Alchemist, Mikey Simon in the Nicktoons Network series Kappa Mikey, and Mahad in Yu-Gi-Oh!. In the past, Sinterniklaas has dubbed such shows as Twin Signal, Night Hunters, Magic User's Club, and Berserk. He was the voice director on the Animation Collective Nicktoon Three Delivery. Recently, he started doing voice work in the West coast more frequently. Funimation announced on July 4, 2009, that Michael Stinterniklaas would replace David Moo as Xellos in the English dub of Slayers Revolution. The series will ship in March 2010.

David Williams is a former ADR Director for ADV Films as well as their DVD Producer and voice on the Internet.

He has directed Angelic Layer, Pretear, Najica, the original Nuku Nuku OVAs, Dirty Pair, and many others. He's produced more DVDs than he can remember and had more skin grafts due to online flame wars than he wants to remember. His roots in the industry go deep, having been an anime fan since before there was an anime industry in the U.S.

About Mizucon

Mizu Con is an annual convention based on Japanese Animation and the many sub-genres of Anime. Mizu Con will feature many of the festivities found at most Anime conventions. Events will include interesting and informative panels, Anime DVD screenings, live action movies, video gaming and even an Anime music video showcase! Mizu Con will also host an Artist Alley where local artists may showcase and sell their artwork and crafts. In addition there will be a cosplay contest, special guests, a dealer's room and much more! With over 30 years combined staffing and running Anime conventions, we hope to bring a quality show to the community annually and with community support we will be able to achieve our goal.
