Biography:
Sam has been cosplaying since 2014, competing in several contests across the Southeast. She has taken home several "Best in Show" wins, including Megacon in 2017 and 2018, and Supercon's Southeast Crown Qualifier in 2022. Her work blends a variety of traditional and cosplay techniques such as sculpting, casting, leather working, Worbla and EVA foam armor construction, and shoemaking. Sam now runs her own full-time business selling handmade resin artwork, commissioned props and cosplay, competing with cosplay, and making professional cosplay appearances nationwide as Dovah Design.
