News for Anime Boston 2004:

Anime Boston registration is offline temporarily

With just over two months to go before the convention, Anime Boston 2004 has closed its registration early. The registration cut-off was implemented in order to determine how close the convention is to its attendance cap.

In 2003 a Boston fire marshal made the convention stop selling at-con registrations at around noon on Saturday because the hotel had reached maximum capacity. To prevent overcrowding in 2004, Anime Boston has implemented an attendance cap of 3,250 people (including staff and guests).

Registration may once again be turned on if it turns out that there is still space available. If pre-registration is made available again, it is expected that the few remaining spaces will be filled up very quickly.
