ShadoCon 2011 announces second round of guests

Tampa, FL - March 5, 2011 - ShadoCon is excited to announce our second round of guests: Quinton Flynn, Chris Cason, Uncle Yo, Ashely Clark, and Console Alliance!

Quinton Flynn's voice has been burning up film and television since he first arrived in Los Angeles from his native Cleveland. He is an A-list voice actor, having played such famous animated characters as Jonny Quest, Spiderman, Speed Racer, The Human Torch, Timon, Snowbell in Stuart Little, just to name a few. His television and film appearances include Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, King of Queens, Animaniacs, Woody Woodpecker, Robot Chicken, and many more. His best known roles in video game franchises have been his work providing the english voices of Raiden in the Metal Gear Solid series, Axel in Kingdom Hearts II, and Reno in Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children the motion picture. If you're hip to the anime scene you'll know him as Iruka-sensei and Deidara in Naruto and Naruto Shippuden, Marcus Damon in Digimon Data Squad, and Carl in Blood+, to name a few.

Chris Cason has participated in almost every facet of anime production. He has been associated with numerous projects (exclusively for FUNimation Entertainment) in a voice acting, ADR directing, or scriptwriting capacity. His work has been featured on Spike TV, The Independent Film Channel (IFC), Nicktoons, The Cartoon Network, and The CW. Some of Chris's voice credits include: "Gluttony" in Fullmetal Alchemist, "Tien Shinhan" and "Mr. Popo" in Dragonball Z (and returning as "Mr. Popo" in Dragonball Z Kai), "Holy Roman Empire" in Hetalia Axis Powers, "Jack the Ripper" in Soul Eater, "Boo" and "Whitey" in Shin-Chan, "Miyamoto" and "M1" in Yu Yu Hakusho, "Fumihiro" in Initial D, "Chamo" in Negima, "Hanai" in School Rumble, "Babbit" in Kodocha, "Taruru" in Sgt. Frog, "Seigfried" in Kenichi, and "Genzo" in Oh! Edo Rocket. Some of his ADR directing and assistant ADR directing credits include: DBZ Uncut, Dragonball, Dragonball GT, Yu Yu Hakusho, Negima, Kodocha, Galaxy Railways, Baki the Grappler, School Rumble, Hell Girl, Kaze no Stigma, Bamboo Blade, Birdy the Mighty: Decode, Initial D, and Tsubasa Tokyo Revelations.

From Albany to Albuquerque, from Denver to D.C. and now joining us for the first time in Florida, Uncle Yo has toured many conventions to perform his unique stand-up comedy aimed exclusively at the geek community. Discussion panel leader, game show host and emcee all-in-one, this Renaissance Nerd keeps the laughs coming and the show rolling.Armed with his giant D20, Uncle Yo celebrates all brands of nerdom: anime, comic books, video games, LARPing, Star Wars, RPG's and manga.He may be One Piece short of a Fullmetal Alchemist, but this Jedi intern promises to "Bebop your Cowboy so hard you'll feel it in your joystick."

ASHLEY CLARK (Anna May Belle) is a multi-media artist and writer, and has been working in the anime style for nearly a decade. Her first webcomic, 'Shades of Red', debuted in 2003. She has since turned her attention to her newest literary project, 'Tales of Asajima'. You can enter the world of Asajima through the webnovel 'Nowaki', and continue your journey with the first of her print novels, 'The Yukari'. Ashley has won numerous awards as not only an artist, but also as an AMV creator, cosplayer, and film editor. Within the anime community, Ashley is widely known as Anna May Belle, webmistress of AnimeBelle.com, one of the most highly regarded and popular anime websites in the south. AnimeBelle hosts a gallery containing over 24,000 photos with hundreds more added after every convention she attends. The website also hosts forums, guest interviews, event reporting, and a convention schedule of southern anime conventions. If it's of interest to southern anime fans, it interests AnimeBelle, y'all!

Console Alliance is an independent film company and community based out of Saint Augustine Florida. Console Alliance is most known for it's online gaming oriented videos from interviews & tutorials to Documentaries and our most successful show DLC (Down Loadable Content). They host a forum which gamers from all around can discuss anything and everything from the world of Video Games whether it be Art, Music, or what you are currently playing. Members which join the site can also review games for others to read in our Video Game Reviews forum. One of our main goals at Console Alliance is also to teach others what a video gamer is. They want to break the negative stereotypes and show people who do not know or understand that video games are not evil and cause violence but they are in fact a great hobby and can create great art, music, friendships and more.

ABOUT ShadoCon: ShadoCon is Florida's Anime, Video Games, and Comics Convention hosted in Tampa, FL. ShadoCon will be taking place at the Crowne Plaza Hotel Tampa East on November 11-13, 2011. This years theme will be Cyberpunk. It all begins on Verteran's Day.
