Cosplay And Photography Expo is something that Nerd Caliber founder Emmanuel and editor in chief Rodney have been talking about since Rodney came on board in late 2013. They wanted to hold an event that served the cosplay community as much as other cons highlight it.

Credit needs to go to the now postponed Meraki Expo, which beat them to the punch with the idea, and inspired the choice of an interesting venue like the Southbridge Hotel & Conference Center, which is built into an old eyeglasses factory building.
