At it's heart, this convention is a cross-section of two subcultures: people who love sharing their devotion for comics, sci-fi/fantasy, cosplay, and gaming, and people who want to help those in need. We are nerds, geeks, and fans working to improve the lives of people facing hardship, and we've found a way to leverage our passion to do just that.
At Cure-a-Con, we raise funds to end the pain and suffering of cancer through education, research, and services. When you purchase a ticket, rent an exhibitor booth, or become a sponsor, you are actually making a donation to the American Cancer Society, and we're showing you our appreciation for that gift by inviting you to a weekend of nerdy celebration.
